- Over 7 years of estimating experience
- Currently gainfully employed with a well-known and respected main building contractor (4 years)
- Experience across Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Hospitality, Retail, Industrial & Heritage
Typical skills and duties include (but not limited too):
- Preparing and creating a scope of works / BOQ’s
- Devising tender / project strategies and methodologies
- Coordination with clients, subcontractors, architects, and engineers etc
- Subcontract negotiations and managing relationships
- Worked on GC21, design & construct and construct-only contracts
- Working on ECI’s and budget cost plans
- Estimate construction costs for a variety of commercial tenders
- Tender review and subcontractor comparison
- Review tender documentation and identify risks
